CPA/CX Pilot TXT Log Support Now Available in LogOOOI

We’re excited to announce that Cathay Pacific pilots can now easily upload their TXT files to LogOOOI for automated flight logging. By exporting your flight data from the company portal, you can import all flights and simulator entries directly into your digital logbook. Here’s an overview of how it works:

• P2X Time Enabling

• If the first entry in your TXT file is logged as P2X, LogOOOI will continue counting all subsequent flights as P2X until it detects your first PF (Pilot Flying) entry—at which point it will log takeoffs and landings.

• PF and PM Assignments

• Depending on whether you’re PF or PM, the system will automatically categorize your entry as P1US or P2.

• Simulator Entries

• Any simulator flights detected are automatically filled with 4 hours duration.

Commander Recognition

• If the Commander’s name in the file matches your own pilot ID, LogOOOI assigns you P1 (PIC) for the full duration.

First Officer / Second Officer Recognition

P2, RQ, and P2X each receive only a fractional part of total flight time:

• P2 gets time split according to total flight hours and the number of crew members.
• RQ logs time based on air time and crew count.
• P2X is similarly allocated fractional time until a PF entry is found.

2-Crew Operation (Regional Flight)

• Same for Both Pilots
• Each pilot logs 100% of the total flight time.

3-Crew Operation

• Captain

• Logs 100% of total time as P1.

• First Officer (RQ)

• Logs (Air Time – 40 min) x 2/3 as P2.

• First Officer (Non-RQ)

• Logs taxi time plus (Air Time – 40 min) x 2/3
• PF entries become P1us, PM entries become P2.

• Second Officer

• Logs (Air Time – 40 min) x 2/3 as P2X

4-Crew Operation

• Captain

• Logs 100% of total time as P1.

• First Officer (RQ)

• Logs (Air Time – 40 min)/2 as P2

• First Officer (Non-RQ)

• Logs taxi time plus (Air Time – 40 min)/2
• PF = P1us, PM = P2.

• Second Officer

• Logs (Air Time – 40 min)/2 as P2X

Calculated Total Time

For the affected entries, LogOOOI replaces the usual “Total Time” with these calculated values. This ensures your logbook reflects the precise distribution of flight hours based on rank, crew size, and flight phase.
