How Name Fields Work in LogOOOI
✈️

LogOOOI stores names using two primary fields: Full name and Display name. There are also special import fields that capture names from external sources (CX screenshots, TXT/PDF imports).

Full name
📝

The Full name is the canonical, complete name string (for example: John Michael Smith). The Full name is used on report title pages as the formal identifier.

Display name
👤

The Display name is the public-facing name shown throughout the app (lists and entry lines). You can set the Display name to a short or preferred form (for example: John Smith, Johnny, or Self).

Import names
🔁

Import-specific fields (CX/DASH/OPS/TXT/PDF) store alternate name values detected while importing data. These fields are used to match or import records and do not overwrite your Full or Display names unless edited.

Report behavior
📄

Reports use the Full name on the title/cover page and the Display name for each entry, so formal identification appears on the report header while entries remain concise and readable.
